Marketplace Booth Application
and Payment

I understand that I must have proof of vehicle insurance to be permitted entry into the park.

I am responsible to obtain any necessary licenses and permits. If selling edibles, I understand that all food items must be pre-packaged and that no cooking is permitted.

I understand that the MLFA does not assume liability for damage due to weather and that I must secure my booth appropriately on a blacktop surface.

I will set up my booth prior to 2pm on Friday and my booth will be open for business during the designated market hours through the entire weekend. I understand that I must provide my own weights or sandbags to secure my booth.

I give permission to the MLFA to use any provided or publicly available images of my work for promotional purposes.

I will conduct my activities in a tasteful manner in compliance with federal, state and local law. I will not sublet any portion of my assigned space. The MLFA director reserves the right to close any booth and/or require removal of any product that is not representative of those applications submitted. If the MLFA must terminate this agreement for any reason, the only liability of the MLFA will be a refund of the fee I paid, unless that termination is because of my violation of the terms and conditions of this agreement, in which case no refund will be due me. No booth refunds will be issued after July 31, 2022.

My booth and materials are stored on site at my own risk. The MLFA does not assume any liability for any injury sustained by exhibitors or in the space assigned to an exhibitor.

As a condition of participation, the above named organization(s) and/or individual(s) agree to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Mukilteo, and the non-profit organization known as the Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival Association, its officers, directors, committee members, employees, volunteers, sponsors, contractors and agents from any and all claims, actions, suits, losses, damages, liability of every type and nature, including, but not limited to, all costs and legal expenses incurred by the Application or any other party, by reason of any activity arising under or in connection with the Applicant’s participation in the Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival, Run-a-Muk or Lighthouse Festival Parade, including, but not limited to, personal injury, property damage arising from or out of any occurrence, omission, error, or negligence arising from any activity related to said participation. In the event that any litigation is commenced by or against the Applicant, his/her/its heirs or assigns, then the Applicant shall proceed and hold harmless the City of Mukilteo and the Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival Association, its officers, directors, committee members, employees, volunteers, sponsors, contractors and agents, and shall pay all costs, expenses, and reasonable attorney’s fees incurred or paid by the aforementioned entities in connection with such litigation.
